If you are booking for a full academic year you can select the type of room you stay in.

However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you are booking for a shorter period e.g. a single semester or a summer stay, you will be allocated the room type (single studio, twin studio, single en suite etc) you have booked but the exact specification may be subject to availability. This can include the floor the room is located on, the direction the room is facing, if the room is classed as a standard, a club, a premium, an accessible, a premium accessible etc.

If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.

Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.

Yes. The residence takes a refundable £200 security deposit when you check in, returned after your stay provided the room is left in good condition and house rules have been followed. The deposit arrangement is between you and the residence, so please ask at reception for the full terms and when it will be refunded.

Shared bathrooms are on each floor and are cleaned daily. Typically five or six guests share, and every room has its own washbasin.

Evening meals are served from Monday-Friday 18.30-20:30, however, on weekends a lunch is served instead from 12:30 to 13:30. A vegetarian option is available.

Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.

Yes. There is a card-operated laundry in the building, roughly £3.50 for a wash and £1.70 for a dry.

Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.

Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.

Single rooms are for one person. Twin, triple and four-bed rooms are shared with other guests of the same sex. All rooms have a washbasin; most share a bathroom on the floor, and a few twin and four-bed rooms have their own en suite bathroom.

No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.

Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.

No. This residence is for guests aged 18 and over only.
