The residence is located just off Goswell Road, just minutes away from London’s City University of Northampton Square, meaning you can just roll out of your bed and be in University ready for your early morning lectures with time to spare.
There are buses right on your doorstep which take you directly to Waterloo, and you can walk to two of London’s famous underground stations in 12 minutes. There are plenty of other great transport links locally, not to mention where you can get to on foot. Exmouth Market is a short walk from the residence and is home to plenty of quirky shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and food stalls during the lunchtime rush. Smithfield Meat Market is only a few minutes away, with fresh local produce.
The Barbican Centre is a performing arts centre and hosts classical and contemporary music concerts, theatre performances and art exhibitions and is just a 20-minute walk from the residence. Somerset House located south side of the Strand is a short 10-minute bus ride away and plays host to many art exhibitions and is home to the world-famous London Fashion Week. London Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral are iconic features of London’s skyline and are only 20-minutes’ walk away from the residence.
The residence has 188 rooms which are a combination of Single En-suites and Single Studios which have all recently undergone a full refurbishment. Single En-suites include your own en-suite bathroom and access to a shared kitchen with nine of your fellow flatmates. Studios include your own en-suite bathroom and your own private kitchenette. All rooms are fully-furnished (as well as recently refurbished) with a comfortable bed, a study desk with a chair and a wardrobe.
Needing to exercise and burn off some excess energy? Then just head out and make the five-minute walk to St John Street where you have full access to their 24/7 onsite gym. You also will get the full student experience from all of the in-house social events that the residence organises on a weekly basis both in Sebastian Street and in the common room at St John Street.
The safety of students is a number one priority which is why the residence is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day, along with 24/7 staff presence at the reception being either the residence staff or security – a little bit like having guardian angels around you. Not to mention the experienced maintenance team ready to fix everything. You will find an on-site laundry, bicycle storage and wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the residence.

Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Yes, under 18s are welcome to stay at this residence. For guests who are 16 or 17 years old we will require a parental consent form to be completed. This form will state that your parents are happy for your to stay in this residence.
Please be sure to bring your towels, toiletries and any electronic equipment you may need, such as a laptop or tablet.
The residence comes with plenty of secure bike storage.
