Location
The Sheffield Leadmill Point residence is situated only minutes from both Sheffield train station and a host of bus stations. It is also just a five-minute walk to Sheffield Hallam University and their Students’ Union.
The residence is also just a 10-minute walk from Division Street and West Street, home to many fantastic bars and restaurants. One of the busiest shopping streets in Sheffield, Fargate, is less than a five-minute walk away. If that isn’t enough, you can catch the tram to Meadowhall Shopping Centre, which should give you all the shops you could ever possibly need!
The residence is also in a perfect position to make the most of Sheffield’s famous student nightlife. Whether your preference is for the Students’ Union, the city’s many nightclubs, or simply a chilled-out beverage at a local pub like The Frog and Parrot, there’ll be plenty of options close by. Other local venues that are popular with students include The Leadmill nightclub and the O2 Academy, both of which are located less than five minutes’ walk from the residence.

This is a large residence offering a range of room types. All bedrooms come equipped with a comfortable bed, storage for your clothes and a desk/study area. All rooms are come with a private en suite bathroom. The single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen and living area while the studios have cooking facilities within the rooms. The residence provides a fortnightly cleaning service of the communal areas including the living room and kitchen.
There is CCTV throughout the building, an onsite service and security team and the latest electronic entry system for your security. There is also a fully equipped laundry and bicycle storage.

Sheffield Leadmill Point - Classic Non En Suite - Short Stay
This is a single non-en-suite room. The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and wash basin, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. These rooms are arranged in three, four, six and eight-bed apartments. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 5 flatmates. Some rooms have river views (upon request).

You can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you do have a special request, please let us know and we will do our best to help you.
If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
En-suite rooms include features such as a private bathroom, a comfortable three-quarter sized bed, your own desk for study and Wi-Fi connected work space.
The minimum stay is 8 weeks.
Rooms are typically 11 square meters.
