The words ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘great value’ are rarely found together in the same sentence. However, this hostel style residence not only meets that brief, it also offers clean and comfortable rooms with some excellent facilities within the building as well. This includes unlimited (20MB ) Wi-Fi internet, a TV room, an on-site Gym, study rooms, laundry facilities and vending machines. The prices includes all bills and basic contents insurance. Guests can also enjoy a continental breakfast and an evening meal each day included in the rate. As this is a catered facility the ‘shared kitchen’ is a basic pantry style facility, ideal for heating food.
Each room is protected by 24-hour electric key fob access. There is CCTV throughout the building and an on-site security team for your comfort and safety.
Notting Hill Gate station is a short walk away and sits on three lines, the Central, Circle and District, which opens up most of the city without much changing. Imperial College London is one of the closest big universities, reachable in around fifteen to twenty minutes down through Kensington, and the Royal College of Art and Royal College of Music are near neighbours in the same direction. The Central line runs east to Holborn and Oxford Circus, so UCL, the University of the Arts and the Bloomsbury colleges are a straightforward ride. Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park stations are close by too for the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines. Add in the buses along Notting Hill Gate and you have quick, direct routes to campuses right across west and central London. However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Yes, please note that a damage deposit of £200 will be taken by the residence when you check-in. The residence will refund the deposit after your stay providing your room has not been damaged and the rules of the residence have been observed during your stay. The arrangement of the damage deposit is between you and the accommodation supplier (the residence). Please ask the residence upon check-in for the full terms and conditions on the arrangement and for details on how and when the deposit will be refunded.
Generally speaking, between 5 and 6 people share the bathroom facilities at the residence.
Evening meals are served from Monday-Friday 18.30-20:30, however, on weekends a lunch is served instead from 12:30 to 13:30. A vegetarian option is available.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have shared bathroom facilities with the floor of the residence. Single rooms are not shared, whereas Twin, Triple and Quad rooms are shared with other members of the same sex.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.

As this is a catered facility offering both breakfast and dinner, the kitchen facilities are limited to a basic ‘pantry’ style room. This is ideal for heating up food or preparing sandwiches or salads for lunch but not cooking full meals (as these are provided in the dining area).
