The residence sits on Victoria Road in North Acton, directly opposite North Acton station on the Central line. That puts Oxford Circus around 20 minutes away and Westfield White City, with its cinema and shops, two stops down the line. Acton Main Line on the Elizabeth line is about a 15 minute walk for fast trains to Paddington, Bond Street and Heathrow. Supermarkets, cafes and a pub are close by, and Royale Leisure Park, with its gym, cinema and bowling, is a few minutes on foot. UCL, King’s, LSE, the UAL colleges and the central language schools are all reachable in 30 to 45 minutes.
Features
The building stands on the site of the BBC’s old costume store, and the name has stuck. Rooms are single en-suites with a private shower room, a single bed with storage underneath, a two-door wardrobe, desk, chair and bookcase, and Wi-Fi in every room. Each flat of up to eight rooms shares a large kitchen with a dining table, two cupboards and two drawers per person, and a kettle, toaster and microwave. Bedding and kitchen equipment are included, so you can arrive with a suitcase and nothing else. Downstairs there is a recently refurbished common room with a TV and table tennis, a laundry, a courtyard, secure bike storage and a large studio workshop space. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day and all bills are included in the rent.

North Acton - Single En Suite
This is a private en-suite bedroom with its own shower room. The room has a comfortable single bed with storage underneath, a desk and chair, a two-door wardrobe and a bookcase. Bedding is provided. You share a large fitted kitchen with up to seven flatmates, with your own cupboards and drawers, and a kettle, toaster and microwave supplied. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building, and the minimum stay is two weeks.
