Location
Lancaster Gate sits on the northern edge of Hyde Park, and is one of the grandest and most stylish Victorian housing areas. The streets are lined with traditional white British terrace houses made famous in films such as Mary Poppins, Paddington and Notting Hill. The local area is filled with boutique 5-star hotels as tourists flock to the location due to its proximity to a large number of tourist attractions and the famous shopping districts of Oxford Street, Carnaby Street and Bond Street.
The residence could not be situated in a more convenient part of central London with both zone 1 Lancaster Gate Station and the huge ‘London Paddington Station’. This not only gives you access to all of London via four underground lines but also all of the UK via the excellent overground rail and coach services from the station.
Features
This residence is situated in a large traditional Victorian terraced house, giving it a homely and welcoming atmosphere. There is even a small garden at the back perfect for taking a break from the busy city. This is a ‘low budget residence’ meaning it offers basic but excellent value accommodation in a prime area of London. The residence offers a range of single, twin and multiple rooms. There is a TV room to socialise in and a study area for when you prefer some peace and quiet. Guests are welcome to use the large communal kitchen to cook meals, although locally you can find a plethora of restaurants and cafes serving food and drinks from around the world.
Within the residence, an onsite laundry, reception team, CCTV and onsite security. All utility bills, including Wi-Fi and basic contents insurance, are encompassed in the price.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Yes, please note that a damage deposit of £200 will be taken by the residence when you check-in. The residence will refund the deposit after your stay providing your room has not been damaged and the rules of the residence have been observed during your stay. The arrangement of the damage deposit is between you and the accommodation supplier (the residence). Please ask the residence upon check-in for the full terms and conditions on the arrangement and for details on how and when the deposit will be refunded.
Generally speaking, between 5 and 6 people share the bathroom facilities at the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have shared bathroom facilities on each floor of the residence. Single rooms are not shared, whereas Twin, Triple and Quad rooms are shared with other members of the same sex.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
