What to do in London: canoe & kayak on canals

You would like to do a funny activity in London while enjoying the sunny weather? Think about doing some canoe or kayak on London’s canal or on the Thames!

What is Moo Canoe?

Moo Canoes is a little company created in 2012 which wants to make London waterways more fun for everyone. They work with Thames 21, Poplar Union and The Canal and River Trust, using the fleet to enhance and protect the waterways.

You can rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boarding and plan a trip with 4 to 20 people on one of London’s waterways.

Book your canoe here!

How much does it cost?

  • Tandem Kayaks are £26 for the first hour and £10 per hour thereafter.
  • Canoes are £36 for the first hour and £10 per hour thereafter.

You can book by the half hour too, so for example1.5 hours in a kayak would be £31. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

  • One-way kayak trips from Limehouse to Hackney Wick must be booked in advance via email or over the phone, and are £23 per person after 3pm or £30 per person before 3pm. If you feel you need one of our guides to join you on the water during your adventure, this is an additional £30 per hour.
