When did you last see a big bicycle tour or seen a bicycle race, has it been a while?
Then is this weekend is the perfect chance to join the world’s largest festival of cycling returns. More than 100,000 people are expected to take on eight miles of empty London streets. This event is for all kind of people and ages.
At this event, you have three options what you can do.

- You watch the “Prudential RideLondon Classique” race and join in on the excitement. This is a 5.4 km pro-female cycling race.
- You’ll be a spectator at the “Brompton World Cup”. This race goes through St. James’s Park and is followed by a 16 km long track.
- You will join the “Ride London FreeCycle”. For this tour, there are many streets that are closed. Would like to drive along the Chancery Lane, Victoria Embankment on the Strand down to the St Paul’s Cathedral and Buckingham Palace? Then join on Saturday to the event and sign up until 2 pm on the day.

If you do not want to miss the sunshine at the weekend visit the outdoor market at Battersea. Here you can pick up a lots of handmade crafts, local produce, souvenirs, street food and watch live musicians every Saturday (and Sunday throughout the summer).
Studio Ghibli at The British Museum – Friday 2nd August – Friday 9th August
Often described as the Japanese Disney, Studio Ghibli is known far and wide for it’s enchanting and groundbreaking animations. Why not visit The British Museum where there will be exhibitions and talks about anything Studio Ghibli and Anime.
A whole day dedicated to SLIME! Why not come down to York Hall, London and have a well and truly gooey day. There will be workshops, demonstrations, a nail bar, face painting and so much more!
