Situated just a short walk from Queen Mary University, London Metropolitan’s Aldgate Campus and City University, Rahere Court is in the heart of East London’s thriving student scene. The area is home to over 15,000 students, meaning you never have to go too far to find a student event or night out. Within a few steps of your front door, you will find a wide selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as one of Europe’s largest shopping centres nearby in Stratford.
Mile End Station (zone 2) is less than 5 minutes walk from the residence and is on the Central and District Lines, meaning you will also have fantastic links into Central London.
Features
The Rahere Court residence offers a range of en-suite bedrooms including studios with kitchen facilities within the room or single en-suite bedrooms which are contained within mini apartments and have access to a shared kitchen and living room. All rooms are modern with private bathrooms, a private study area with desk and chair and plenty of storage space for your clothes. There is Wi-Fi in every room and throughout the building.
Rahere Court benefits from having both on-site customer service and maintenance teams. There is a laundry room, secure bicycle storage, a common room and a central courtyard. The residence also offers 24-hour security with secure door entry systems and CCTV cameras for your safety.

Rahere Court – Classic En-Suite
This is a single en-suite room measuring around 13m². The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 4 flatmates.

You can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
There is free fortnightly cleaning for communal kitchens and living areas.
