There is a wide range of bars, pubs and nightlife on your doorstep when you stay at St John’s Street. Clerkenwell is home to a range of delicious restaurants and pubs, some student favourites which are within walking distance include; Jamie’s Italian, Wagamama and Sports Bar and Grill.
Both Angel Station and Farringdon Station are within a 10 minute walk away from the residence. Along with Holborn being a short 25 minute walk away, and Leicester Square 35 minutes away on foot, which is perfect for nightlife entertainment. Shoreditch is also a short distance away from the residence and has a range of bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs for you to choose from. The area of Islington has a selection of entertainment to choose from, with some of the best bars and pubs in London. Live music venue, the O2 Academy can be found here along with The Garage and Union Chapel – just a 20 minute walk away from the residence.

The residence comes with a large common area which houses a foosball and pool table, which are both free to use; along with a vending machine and study area. There is also a gym for those fitness fanatics out there. Both are open 24/7 in order for all resident’s to be able to get maximum use. You staying when the weather happens to be nice? Well there is an external courtyard area, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get some quiet time or catch a tan. Of course, as we said earlier – this is completely British weather dependent.
You will find a reception area which is manned 24 hours of the day, seven days a week; with staff present Monday to Saturday, and security outside of this. There is CCTV around the entire residence and a dedicated, experienced on-site maintenance team to deal with all issues. There is a large onsite laundry room where you will find free use of ironing boards and irons, along with a sofa to relax on and watch TV whilst waiting for your washing to be done.

Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Yes, under 18s are welcome to stay at this residence. For guests who are 16 or 17 years old we will require a parental consent form to be completed. This form will state that your parents are happy for your to stay in this residence.
