Location
The residence is located in Farringdon/Clerkenwell, just moments away from London’s City University, Cass Business School, UAL Golden Lane campus and London School of Business and Finance. Both Angel and Old Street Stations are within a short walk, as is Southampton Place in Holborn and London’s vast array of English Language schools. There are buses right on your doorstep which can take you directly to Waterloo or King’s Cross, or hop on the Central Line for a couple of stations and you can be shopping on Oxford Street or partying in London’s famous West End, Soho area.
There is plenty to do locally, the area is home to a wide variety of quirky shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and independent shops stocked with fresh, local produce. London Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral are iconic features of London’s skyline and are only 20-minutes’ walk away from the residence.

This residence offers over 180 rooms, which have all recently undergone a full refurbishment and all come with private en suite bathrooms. The premium option being studios, which are larger and come complete with a kitchenette. All rooms are furnished with a comfortable bed, a study desk with chair, a wardrobe and storage space.
Fancy burning off some excess energy with a workout? Then just head out and use the gym facilities on St John’s Street with full 24/7 gym membership included.
Student safety is a priority, the residence monitored by CCTV, along with 24/7 staff presence at the reception from either the residence staff or onsite security not to mention the onsite maintenance team. If you are booking for a full academic year you can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you are booking for a shorter period e.g. a single semester or a summer stay, you will be allocated the room type (single studio, twin studio, single en suite etc) you have booked but the exact specification may be subject to availability. This can include the floor the room is located on, the direction the room is facing, if the room is classed as a standard, a club, a premium, an accessible, a premium accessible etc.

Yes, you can, however, it would need to be arranged with at least 48 hours notice.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Yes, under 18s are welcome to stay at this residence. For guests who are 16 or 17 years old we will require a parental consent form to be completed. This form will state that your parents are happy for your to stay in this residence.
Please be sure to bring your towels, toiletries and any electronic equipment you may need, such as a laptop or tablet.
The residence comes with plenty of secure bike storage.
