Wellington Lodge can be found on the corner of Waterloo Road and Westminster Bridge Road, meaning within a short walk you can be on London’s exciting South Bank. This dynamic area is at the heart of London’s cultural scene, full of street entertainers, restaurants and world-class tourist attractions. In addition to being a great place to view some of London’s most iconic landmarks, the South Bank is the perfect spot to walk along the Thames and to soak in London’s cosmopolitan atmosphere.

This modern student residence is built to a high specification, offers a range of single rooms which are part of mini-apartments and single studios which offer cooking facilities within the bedroom, ideal for students wishing to live independently.
All rooms benefit from private en-suite bathrooms, good sized beds, a study area and plenty of storage space for clothes. The studio rooms have private cooking facilities while the single en-suite rooms come as part of a mini apartment and offer access to a communal kitchen and living room. There is Wi-Fi in every room and throughout the building.
There is a private study area, a common room and a roof terrace with views of the Southbank and The London Eye.

Wellington Lodge – Classic En-Suite
This is a single en-suite room measuring around 12m². The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 5 flatmates.

You can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
There is free fortnightly cleaning for communal kitchens and living areas.
