Situated close to Leeds City Centre, The Plaza is ideally located for students of Leeds Beckett University, University of Leeds, Leeds College of Art and Design and a number of local English Language schools. Located close to Queen Square and within just a couple of minutes walk from The Merrion Shopping Centre which offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment including a bowling alley, several pubs & bars and even a nightclub.
You will be within walking distance of a number of Leeds’ most popular attractions, ranging from cultural hotspots such as The Cathedral or the City Museum to sports and music venues like The First Direct Area or the 02 Academy. Staying at The Plaza you will never be short of something to see or do.
Facilities
The Leeds Plaza residence is a modern purpose-built student residence which offers 950 contemporary en-suite bedrooms to students. The individual bedrooms are arranged into mini-apartments, with 5 or 6 bedrooms in each. Every mini apartment has access to a shared kitchen, dining area and living facility. The kitchens are all fully equipped with an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a vacuum cleaner.
Guests staying at this residence have free access to an on-site gym complete with a dance studio. There is also a laundry, a common room, free bike storage, vending machines, wireless internet in every room and throughout the building. The residence provides a very secure environment for students, with 24/7 onsite security and secure electronic key access.

This is a single en-suite studio measuring between 16m² and 22m². The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a large wardrobe and under-bed storage. The studio is fully equipped with a private kitchenette. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building.

No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
En-suite rooms include features such as a private bathroom, a comfortable three-quarter sized bed, your own desk for study and Wi-Fi connected work space.
The minimum stay is 4 weeks.
Rooms are typically between 13-22 square meters.
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
