List of things to do in London!

Hello everyone! I am Romane, a Marketing intern at London Homestays and I will today tell you a little bit more about the Madison Rooftop. There’s no better place to watch the sunset in St Paul’s than this new rooftop terrace bar. The Madison combines the traditional gothic style of church building with the grace. There are snacks, tapas and a more formal brasserie menu is served in the restaurant area. You can of course drink in more than the views: cocktails range from standards to the more exciting concoctions.

This rooftop situated in St Paul’s, 1 new change in London. It’s open from noon ‘til late daily and they close their doors at 01:00 am. The Madison provides access to over 18 years during the week and 21 years weekends. If you want learn more about the menu card, you can click here.

BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR

Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. There is a Hindu temple in London. The Mandir was built and funded entirely by the Hindu community. This built entirely using traditional methods and materials, Neasden’s Swaminarayan Mandir has been described as being Britain’s first authentic Hindu temple. It was also Europe’s first traditional Hindu stone temple, as distinct from converted secular buildings.

This building is situated close Harlesden Station (105-119 Brentfield Rd, London NW10 8LD, Royaume-Uni) and is open every day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

TROOPING THE COLOURS:
THE QUEEN’S BIRTHDAYS PARADE

Trooping the Colours : the Queen’s Birthdays Parade. In June each year the highlight of the ceremonial calendar, trooping the Colour, also known as “The Queen’s Birthday Parade” takes place on Horse Guards Parade in London. In 2016, it’s Saturday 11th June. Although The Queen was born on 21 April, it has long been the tradition to celebrate the Sovereign’s Birthday in the summer. The Coldstream Guards Colour will be trooped at the Queen’s Birthday Parade this year. More than 1,400 officers and men and approximately 400 musicians from the Massed Bands of the Household Division take part in trooping the Colour.

This event is free and in Horse Guards Parade. Trooping the Colour begin at midday but you need to arrive well before events begin at 10am to be far enough forward to get a good view.

WEST END LIVE
I will today tell you a little bit more about the West End Live. Get ready for outdoor dancing and sing-a-longs with the best of the West End’s musical theatre stars: West End Live is back from 18th June at 11:00 AM to the 19 June at 12:00 PM.

This event is the initiative that makes the most expensive place in London to the cheapest (free). An annual outdoor extravaganza where casts of some of London’s best shows emerge blinking into the open-air for a weekend of free alfresco performances in Trafalgar Square.

STREET FAST
(DALSTON JUNCTION/ DALSTON LANE)

Don’t miss currently in London – Street Feast! This is a food market that knows how to party. Imagine a tall building just abandoned on Kingsland Road. Put in three floors because it is more fun. And tell you that every floor you find the ultimate in London street food. Not to mention the cocktails of course.

This food market is located opposite the resort Dalson Junction. Street Feast is a pop-up food market which opens its doors every Friday and Saturday from 17:00 to midnight, it’s Free (5-7pm) / £4 after 7pm. Twenty booths ranging from spicy burgers through to the hot dog to the New Yorker, and even the meringues and doughnuts are made on site. There is the choice to eat at traditional street food price that is approximately £ 5-6 but there is also a long bar full of servers, with bottles beers start at £ 2.5.

New for 2016 are some modern classics of the food stall scene; Hawaiian-inspired sushi bowls from Poke, fiery chicken from White Men Can’t Jerk and juicy hunks of beef from Stakehaus.

In short, it’s affordable. See you on Friday to have a good time!!!
