Key Info
  • Located a short journey away from London’s Zone 1 South Kensington Underground Station, this residence is perfect for both independent and sociable students with its combination of single and twin occupancy rooms.
  • This residence puts you right in the heart of the most expensive and desirable boroughs of London – so enjoy it dahlings!

Location

The residence is located just off the famous Kings Road in Chelsea which effortlessly blends luxury with style.  From eclectic, fashionable boutiques to globally recognised brands, cafes and restaurants; world-class cultural spaces and renowned interior designers, the best of the everyday mixing easily with the most fascinating and the extraordinary.  It has always been a colourful place, so unsurprisingly the mile stretch draws a crowd from far and wide. It is also the site of the first UK branch of Starbucks which opened back in 1999.

Tucked away in a leafy enclave just a short walk away from the King’s Road, you will find what used to be the legendary footballer, George Best’, local pub.  This iconic Chelsea pub has a heritage that stretches back to 1853 and is a three-floor clubhouse-style venue renowned for its cosy bars, wonderful entertaining spaces and incredibly charming garden.  This pub not only has a good selection of drinks for one to enjoy in the saloon bar, but its menu is of a high quality with a range of delicious options for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs – all which can be enjoyed in their delightful Conservatory restaurant.

What is an absolute must, is to discover two places that make Chelsea unique.  John Sandoe Books is Mick Jagger’s favourite bookshop, it’s where minutes turn into hours as you wonder at the breadth and depth of the selection.  Green & Stone is a one-off – not just in London; not just in Britain, but in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD.  A special emporium jam packed full of potential for artists both proper and, it must be said, very improper. There is no resisting the pencils, the paints, the paraphernalia that any self-respecting person of taste wants to carry off into the night with which to have their wicked way.

Features

This residence focuses on dual occupancy en-suite rooms which comes equipped with your own bathroom, two single beds, two wardrobes and two fitted study desks with chairs.  Not only that, but the pair’s package even comes in the form of a TV each showing that the residence really does things equally in their Twin En-suite rooms.  The large modern communal kitchens are fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare something light or a delicious group meal for your fellow residents.  The communal kitchens are open to all residents and have plenty of sinks, hobs, ovens and cabinets for each student.

Not only do you have the large communal kitchens to socialise and bond with new people over food, but there is also a large common room onsite where you can sit and chat with friends, or get away to for a change of scenery when you have assignments due or exams to prep for.  Space is not a problem at all at this residence, with laundry facilities on-site in order to save your parents an unwelcomed weekend trip home, dirty laundry bags intact!  Feel free to utilise this 24/7 – it really means there is no excuse for the washing to pile up.

Of course, the security and welfare of all residents is the number one priority.  You will find CCTV throughout the residence along with secure door entry systems both internally and externally – not to mention the fact that the reception is manned by the Residence Team by day, and a trusty security guard at night, all adding to the double alertness of the residence.  Not only are they there to ensure you are safe though, if you have any problems or even just fancy a chat – then they are there to give you that little bit of company that you may be missing from home.  Don’t worry if anything goes wrong in your room either!  Do not think that it is your responsibility to replace the light bulb or fix the leaky sink – there is an on-site maintenance team available to assist you with everything you need.
