The residence is located on Elvetham Road and is just a stone’s throw away from the University of Birmingham’s campus and within easy reach of all local amenities and transport links including Grand Central Station.
Birmingham is known for being one of the liveliest spots in the UK for nightlife. For a selection of bars and clubs, Broad Street as everything you need and is only a 15 minute walk away. Just a few student favourites include Popworld 6, Players, Revolution and Birmingham’s own super club Pryzm – offering four floors and 9 bars worth of fun. As well as nightlife, Birmingham boasts a range of well-known restaurants on Broad Street and throughout the city centre. These include Rub Smokehouse, Bodega, Nando’s and many more.
Birmingham is one of the top places in the UK for shopping and is home to the Bullring Shopping Centre. The centre is a 20-minute walk from the residence and holds three floors with over 160 stores available, so you will never be short on choice. The Mailbox is also home to big fashion retailers like Harvey Nichols and the historic Jewellery Quarter hosts over 100 specialist jewellery retailers, designers and craftspeople. Birmingham’s world famous Rag Markets are also located behind the Bullring, and you can visit most days of the week. There are lots of different stalls to choose from; jewellery, fabric and souvenirs.
The residence has 240 rooms which are shared apartments. The self-contained Classic Shared Apartment offers plenty of privacy, shared with just one other student. Residents have access to a fully fitted kitchen, shared bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. All rooms are fully-furnished with a comfortable small double bed, a study desk with a chair and a wardrobe. These apartments are definitely everything you need for the complete student experience.
The residence comes with an on-site laundry room, bicycle storage and wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the residence. There is also an outdoor courtyard for you to be able to utilise when the weather is nice for touching up that tan, or a breath of fresh air whilst studying – which can help with concentration, particularly during those important exam times.
Safety of students is a high priority at the residence, and that is why it is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day – a little bit like having a guardian angel watching over you. There is a 24 hour manned reception should you have any questions and need pointing in the right direction. Plus if anything goes wrong in your room at any point and needs fixing, then all you need to do is give the on-site maintenance team a call and they will sort it out as quickly as they can, and at a time that works best for the resident.

This is a shared apartment measuring around 16sqm. The room has a comfortable small double bed, a desk area, as well as a wardrobe, under-bed storage and plenty of shelving and storage. There is access to a shared bathroom and a shared fully fitted kitchen which is shared with one other resident. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building.

Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
Shared apartment rooms include features such as a comfortable three-quarter sized bed, your own desk for study and Wi-Fi connected work space.
