Located on Islington’s Holloway Road, on the border of zones 2/3, the residence is an ideal accommodation for students who want to experience as much of London as they can. With both Holloway Road and Archway Underground stations being only a 10-minute walk away from the accommodation, public transport to a number of London Universities is made for students. However, trains are not the only means of getting to your University quickly, London Metropolitan University is a short 10-minute walk away from the residence.
Ease of travel to Universities aside, the location is ideal for any student who is aiming to make the most out of their stay in London as the residence is surrounded by many entertainment venues. An Odeon Cinema is within walking distance of the residence, making the location ideal for film lovers or just those trying to stay up to date with the latest movie releases. Should students want to venture out a little further, London’s iconic Camden Town is a 20-minute tube journey away, boasting a multitude of music venues, bars, clubs and of course, the ZSL London Zoo. Camden Town is a brilliant experience for those wanting to see the many different cultures and subcultures that London has to offer. Finsbury Park is also less than a mile away. This boasts huge public park for most of the major music festivals such as the infamous Wireless Festival, which just this year saw the likes of Post Malone, Stormzy and Drake among others take to the stage.
Other amenities local to the residence would be include gyms/leisure centres, banks, fast food and fine dining establishments and other high street stores.
The residences main room type is an en-suite room. En-suite rooms offer residences their own private bathroom, study area, double bed and personal space for storage. Those who have booked the en-suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen and living areas, perfect for socialising and meeting new friends. Should a student be more leaning towards the independent/private side of living then studio flats are also available which provides students with their own living area, bathroom and kitchen.
The residence boasts a large common room which is great for socialising or chilling out and catching up on your programmes on the giant widescreen TV. The management team also arrange regular social events for the residents during the year to encourage all to meet new people. Not only that, you can make plenty of new friends whilst doing your washing in the laundry room – friends that wash together, stay together. For those of you who do not want to take advantage of the excellent travel connections and would rather venture your way around on a bicycle, there are storage facilities for you to house your bike.
Your safety will never be compromised with 24/7 CCTV throughout the whole residence along with a friendly onsite management and customer service team to help guide you in all areas both inside and outside the residence. Not only that but for those of you sharing communal kitchens – these are cleaned once a week by the on-site house-keeping team, although you’ll still need to wash those dishes of yours!

This is a single en-suite room measuring around 12-13m². The room has a comfortable small double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe, under-bed storage and plenty of storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 8 flatmates.

However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building.
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
