Euston residence (Somerset Court)
- Ideally-located in zone 1 close to both Euston and King's Cross stations, Somerset Court is just a short walk from a number of leading universities and language schools. Accommodating just 100 students, this residence has a cosy feel and boasts that it is not only one of London's smallest student residences, but also one of the friendliest!
- All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms, and are set out as either mini 4 or 6 bedroom apartments with shared kitchen and living rooms or independent studios with cooking facilities in bedroom.
Location
Centrally-located moments away from Euston Station, the Somerset Court residence is just a short walk from UCL, Central St Martins, University of London, St Giles International and Malvern House London language school. Within 10 minutes of the residence, you have Covent Garden, Leicester Square and London’s famous ‘West End’ which boasts some of the best shopping, nightlife, restaurants and theatres in the world.
If culture is your thing, The British Library and the art galleries of Kings Place are just moments away. Alternatively, Camden Town is also close by with world-class music venues, comedy clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants. The area also boasts London Zoo, Camden Market, Madame Tussauds, and Regent’s Park.

Somerset Court in Euston offers around 100 bedrooms with a choice of shared apartments and independent studios. All bedrooms benefit from private en-suite bathrooms, a large comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and a study desk with chair. Studios come with cooking facilities in the bedrooms, single ensuite rooms have access to a shared modern kitchen and living room.
There is a large common room with a free pool table and a wide screen TV, ideal for socialising with friends. Additional facilities include a 24-hour on-site laundry, safe bike storage, onsite security, secure door entry systems, CCTV cameras and a maintenance team on hand for repairs.

Somerset Court – Classic En-Suite
This is a single en-suite room measuring around 12m². The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 5 flatmates.

Can I select my room?
You can select the type of room you stay in.
However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you do have a special request, please let us know and we will do our best to help you.
Can I view this residence prior to booking?
If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.
Can I smoke in the residence?
Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.
Where can I wash my clothes?
This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Are bills included in the price?
Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.
Does this residence have internet?
Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building
What’s the difference between Studio rooms and the Single En-Suite room types?
Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
Is there a curfew?
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Is there always a member of staff available?
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Can I stay in this residence if I am under 18?
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
How often are the communal areas cleaned?
There is free fortnightly cleaning for communal kitchens and living areas.
Is there cycle storage?
Yes, there are designated areas to safely store your bike.
Are there common rooms to socialise?
