Rooms are either 'studios' with cooking facilities within the room or are grouped into self-catering apartments with a shared kitchen and living room.

Centrally located just a short walk from fashionable Camden Town and King’s Cross, this residence is ideal for city living in London. It is perfectly located for a number of London’s leading universities and language schools. Locally you can find everything from an IMAX cinema to a large supermarket.

There is plenty of places to visit in the area regardless of your budget. From the British Library or the art galleries of Kings Place to the comedy clubs and world-class music venues of Camden, this residence has something for everyone all within a short walk. Travel just a few minutes further, you have London Zoo, Camden Market, Madame Tussauds, and Regent’s Park.

Features

The King’s Cross residence boasts a wide range of facilities including an impressive roof terrace offering some fantastic views across London, two large common rooms, complete with table football, table tennis and a large flatscreen TV. There is also a separate study lounge perfect for catching up on coursework or revision.

All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms, a three-quarter size bed complete with storage, a wardrobe, a mirror and a study area with a desk and a chair. The room will either have cooking facilities within it or you will have access to a modern shared kitchen and living room. The building has 24-hour security and CCTV cameras for your safety.

This is a single en-suite room measuring around 13m². The room has a comfortable ¾ double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with up to 9 flatmates.

Can I select my room?

You can select the type of room you stay in.

However, you cannot request specific details such as what floor the room is on or who your flatmates are, as the rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you do have a special request, please let us know and we will do our best to help you.

Can I view this residence prior to booking?

If you are staying for 12 weeks or longer, we will be happy to request an appointment with the residence team for you to view the residence.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide viewings for stays under 12 weeks.

Can I smoke in the residence?

Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area in the UK. Please use the designated smoking areas found outside the residence.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in any of our residences.

Where can I wash my clothes?

This residence offers dedicated laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes.

Are bills included in the price? 

Yes, all utility bills are included in the price of the room, including gas, electric and Wi-Fi internet.

Does this residence have internet? 

Yes, there is wireless internet in every bedroom and throughout the building

What’s the difference between Studio rooms and the Single En-Suite room types?

Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.

Is there a curfew?

No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.

Is there always a member of staff available?

Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.

Can I stay in this residence if I am under 18?

Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.

On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.

How often are the communal areas cleaned?

There is free fortnightly cleaning for communal kitchens and living areas.

Is there cycle storage?

Yes, there are designated areas to safely store your bike.

Are there common rooms to socialise?

Yes! Study, socialise and share experiences in your common space.

Is there kitchen storage?

You will have your own cupboard, fridge and freezer space to stash your essentials.

Is there a fully-fitted kitchen?

Yes, fridges, freezers, ovens/microwaves and vacuum cleaners are all provided for your kitchen.

Is the room furnished?

Yes, enjoy a comfy bed, handy desk, useful chair and more in your new room.

What is included in the bathroom?

Bathrooms come with showers, basins, mirrors, toilets, towel rails and more.
