When you stay at the residence you’ll be a short walk away from everything you need – so you’ll never be far from the action on offer.
The city centre is packed with hundreds of places to eat out with a wide variety of cuisines from around the world. You’ll only be 10-minutes’ walk away from places such as Jamie’s Italian, Browns and Prezzo on George Street, or Ichiban and Strat on Queen Street. You can also choose from a range of national chain restaurants including TGI Friday’s, Wagamama and Five – so whatever you’re into, you’re sure to find something to suit your taste and budget.
If you’re looking for a spot of retail therapy, whether it’s designer labels or independent boutiques, you’ll have major shopping areas to choose from such as the Buchanan Galleries, which is only a 10-minute walk away from the residence and includes outlets such as H&M, Levi’s and John Lewis – plus many more. Alternatively, you can find a variety of shops in either Princes Square or Merchant City, which are only a 15-minute walk away from the residence. It is a well-known fact that the Glaswegians are extremely fond of their pubs and generally having a good time! There are bars, pubs and clubs all within walking distance from Liberty Park or you can venture out to a selection of cheap bars in Sauchiehall Street which is a 10-minute taxi ride away! Some of the city’s most popular destinations for socialising and eating out are George Square and Merchant City, Merchant Square has lots to offer with Arisaig, Bar Square, Beer Café, Boudoir Wine Bar, Fanelli’s, Mercado, Metropolitan and O’Neill’s – just to name a few.

REALLY want to show that competitive side, then kick back and enjoy some game time with your mates in a social environment on the residence’s PS4/Xbox games area – it is the ultimate place to do it!
Despite the city having everything right on the doorstep of the residence and having such great public transport links to everywhere; some people just like the comfort of their car to take them to the closest or furthest of places. Well fortunately the residence has car parking facilities to extend out to your creature comfort and bring your car with you; something that you will find at very few student residences.
Not only does the residence have 24 CCTV monitoring along with 24 staff presence (be it the reception team, or security); the residence also has its own on-site maintenance team who will come along and fix anything that goes wrong in your room at a time that is suitable for you!
