The residence is located in the city centre of Cardiff next to the hustle and bustle of nightlife and entertainment. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants when you stay at this residence.
Mill Lane is on the doorstep of the residence and is home to a range of upmarket cocktail bars such as Kapu, Peppermint and Mocka – all less than a five-minute walk away. These bars are the perfect place to relax in the summer months as they feature outside seating and 2-4-1 cocktail deals. Just across from Mill Lane you will find St Mary’s Street which has a diverse range of student bars, all offering massive deals you won’t be able to turn down. The Australian club and bar Walkabout, Maddison’s and The Brewhouse are just a few of the places you may find here.
For the shopaholic, visit St David’s Shopping Centre – a five-minute walk away! There are 120 branded shops to indulge in, perfect for that retail therapy. Of course, if you are looking for some independent shops, take a trip on down to Cardiff’s many arcades where you will some little gems! To see some of your favourite act live, you’ll want to visit the Motorpoint Arena, a few seconds away from the residence. The venue has hosted some pretty famous acts over the years so keep an eye out for your favourites.
Cardiff Bay is a five-minute journey from Cardiff Queen Street train station where there are plenty of things to see and do. The Doctor Who Experience can be found here; the tour sends you to various film locations around the City and is reasonably priced. Cardiff Bay offers boat trips to and from the city centre, where you can see the Wales Millennium Centre.
As well as all of your utility bills being included in the price of the rent, it doesn’t stop there! The residence comes with an on-site gym for all those students who like to feel the burn, but not in their wallet!! Not only that, but there is a large, deluxe common room kitted out with state-of-the-art furnishings and plenty of activities so you can just sit back and chill with your friends, without the need to leave the residence to do so!! For those of you who want some fresh Welsh air, there is an external courtyard for you to get some quiet time without the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
Seeing as your parents aren’t around to do your laundry for you, and neither are we – there are laundry facilities on-site for you to use with quick, cheap and easy step-by-step instructions. In the event that you maybe need that little support on your first time, the lovely staff at reception are not only there to take your delivery of parcels and signed-for items, but to generally help you out whenever you need it! No query or question is too much for them when it comes to the students of the residence!
Safety of the residents is a number one priority which is why the residence is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day, with security on-site outside of the hours that the reception staff are! That way you have your very own personal residence guardian angels around all the time. Need something fixed immediately? Well, then the maintenance team are on-hand to repair anything you need at a time which is suitable for you!

This is a premium en-suite room measuring around 14m². The room has a comfortable double bed, a desk area and private bathroom, as well as a wardrobe, under-bed storage and plenty of storage. There is free Wi-Fi in each bedroom and throughout the building. You will also have access to the communal living and kitchen areas which you will share with between 4-8 flatmates.

Both rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The difference is that studios have cooking facilities within the room, while the single en suite rooms have access to a shared kitchen.
No, there is no curfew. You will be living independently, you will have your own key and can come and go as you please.
Yes, the reception staff usually work during office hours Monday to Friday. However, when the reception is closed, there will always be a member of the customer service or security team on hand, either to assist you in person or for you to contact by telephone.
Unfortunately, this residence is only available to students aged 18 or over.
On occasion, subject to management approval, an exception can be made for students who turn 18 during their stay.
